MSE 4570 - Color Science 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Understanding of physical, chemical, and mechanical principles behind the application of colors and finishes to textiles. Requires an appreciation of fiber chemistry and morphology, dye and finish structures and reactivity and mechanical principles behind equipment used to effect transfer of these chemicals onto the textile substrate. Includes Honors sections.
