NUTR 4240 - Medical Nutrition Therapy I 4 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Principles of nutritional assessment, education, and counseling skills; development of medical nutrition therapy for individuals with obesity and eating disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, metabolic and renal disorders. Includes Honors sections. Preq: Food Science and Human Nutrition major or Food Science minor; and BIOL 2220 and BIOL 2230 and NUTR 4510 . Coreq: NUTR 4241 .
