PHIL 3200 - Social and Political Philosophy 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Critical consideration of the views of some major philosophers on the nature of the individual’s relation to society and the state in the context of their wider philosophical (logical, epistemological, metaphysical, and ethical) doctrines. Philosophers may include Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, Hobbes, Rousseau, Mill, Marx, Hegel, Rawls, and Nozick.
