CE 8420 - Natural Catastrophe Risk Analytics

3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Fundamentals of natural catastrophe modeling, derivation of exceedance, probability curve, hazard model, inventory model, vulnerability model, loss model, sources and impact of uncertainties, applications of catastrophe modeling to hurricane and earthquake hazards.
