3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)Introduction to the history, physics, and instrumentation of various medical imaging modalities; including X-ray, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Ultrasound. Students learn the principles of medical imaging from an engineering and clinical prospective. Students evaluate clinical images and explain the clinical applicability among different modalities.
