BIOE 6350 - Computational Modeling in Bioengineering3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) This course introduces students to computational modeling applied to bioengineering problems. Students use modeling approaches (finite element, agent-based, systems network, simple differential equations, etc.) to predict, analyze and engineer biologically-relevant processes-drug diffusion, biomaterial interactions, biomechanics performance, bioelectrical conduction, cellular signaling, and tissue remodeling.
