3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)Critical examination of legislative mandates in special education. Areas of study include the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Section 504, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. Pertinent landmark and current litigation is also examined.
