IE 8870 - Modeling Logistics and Behavior Using Simulation

Covers design and development of discrete event, system dynamics and agent-based models to explain behavior or improve performance. Environments addressed include process flow, social and behavioral systems. Advanced topics of study may include input and output analysis. Modeling concepts are motivated with real-world examples from representative fields. Preq: IE 4820 or IE 6820  or consent of instructor.
