IE 6510 - Investigating Human Error in Complex Systems

3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Operator error is often the fall back explanation for why failures occur, but in reality failures occur due to a combination of cognitive, technological, and organizational factors. This course introduces students to a look at complex system failures from a systems point of view. Preq: IE 8000  or PSYC 8350 .
