AL 8560 - Intercollegiate Athletic Personnel Management3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
This course is designed to discuss, examine, and implement topics and theories regarding personnel management within the context of intercollegiate athletics. Topics covered in this course include personnel regulations, organizational structure, position descriptions, recruiting/hiring processes, employment agreements, onboarding new employees, compensation, benefits, performance management, and workforce management. Current research and practical applications are considered throughout the course.
