Provides a comprehensive introduction to the synthesis, properties, design, and applications of polymeric materials. Topics include molecular characterization, structure, morphology, chemical and physical behavior of the polymers. Students gain knowledge about the principles and the modern conception of advanced polymeric materials. May also be offered as MSE 6150.
