AL 8500 - Scientific Principles of Strength and Conditioning3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) In this course, students discuss, examine and implement topics and theories regarding exercise metabolism, strength conditioning and performance, and sports nutrition. Topics include metabolism and performance, substrate metabolism, sport performance training, muscular endurance, body composition, flexibility, and aerobic performance. Preq: Acceptance to the Athletic Leadership masters program.
