HLTH 8410 - Foundations of Evaluation in Health

3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Foundational course on historical and theoretical aspects of evaluation as applied to population health, medicine and healthcare. Paradigms and philosophies associated with methods, use, values and social justice branches are emphasized. Other topics include evaluation terminology and standards, theory-driven evaluation, planning models, planning and evaluation cycle, engaging stakeholders, and presenting findings.
