MATH 4340 - Advanced Engineering Mathematics 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Fourier series, Laplace and Fourier transform, and numerical methods for solving initial value and boundary-value problems in partial differential equations are developed. Applications to diffusion wave and Dirichelet problems are given. Matrix methods and special functions are utilized. Preq: MATH 2080 with a C or better.
