SOC 4140 - Policy and Social Change 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Uses the sociological perspective to examine policy development, implementation, and evaluation in the public and private sectors. Specifically, focuses on values and ethics and effects of social change efforts on the outcomes of policy formation, social planning, and implementation. Preq: SOC 2010 or SOC 2020 ; and Junior standing.
