CHE 4650 - Pharmaceutical Engineering Processes 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) An overview of the pharmaceutical engineering processes used in large scale production of drug products, recognizing that the great majority of modern drug products are chemicals. Topics covered include pathophysiology, medicinal chemistry, dosage forms, and the unique unit operations involved in scaling up drug products. This course helps prepare chemical engineering students to enter the pharmaceutical industry. Preq: CHE 4350 .
