Program Description
Applicants to the Animal and Veterinary Sciences Master of Science programs should have a strong background in the animal, biological and physical sciences. Students with deficiencies in these sciences may be admitted provided they correct these deficiencies during the first year of the program of study. Applicants may select a Master of Science thesis or non-thesis option. The MS thesis option is intended for students interested in research careers. The MS non-thesis option is intended for students interested in professional careers. For both options, students are required to complete 30 hours of coursework, as approved by their graduate advisory committee. Students are required to identify a major advisor who has agreed to serve prior to program acceptance.
