Program Description
The Literacy Teacher Certificate allows K-12 teachers to complete required coursework for the Read to Succeed (R2S) Literacy Teacher endorsement by the South Carolina Department of Education. In completing the four required courses, students establish a strong basis in the basic foundations of literacy and are prepared to support the reading development of their K-12 classroom students. Students may submit their transcripts to the South Carolina Department of Education following successful completion of the course of study.
