Minor Description
(15 credits minimum)
A minor in Creative Writing requires 15 credits, completed according to one of the following concentration options:
Fiction: ENGL 3450 , ENGL 4230 , and ENGL 4450 ; and six additional credits selected from ENGL 3560 , ENGL 4190 , ENGL 4260 , ENGL 4280 , ENGL 4650 , and ENGL 4830 .
Poetry: ENGL 3460 , ENGL 4220 , and ENGL 4460 ; and six additional credits selected from ENGL 4190 , ENGL 4260 , ENGL 4280 , ENGL 4310 , ENGL 4650 , and ENGL 4830 .
Playwriting: ENGL 3470 /THEA 3470 and ENGL 4470 /THEA 4470 ; and nine additional credits selected from ENGL 4190 , ENGL 4260 , ENGL 4280 , ENGL 4300 , ENGL 4650 , ENGL 4830 , and THEA 3470 .
Screenwriting: ENGL 3480 , ENGL 3570 and ENGL 4480 ; and six additional credits selected from ENGL 4500 , ENGL 4510 , ENGL 4520 , ENGL 4530 , and THEA 3470 .
