Mathematical Sciences, Master’s Level Minor

Program Description

To meet the requirements for a master’s level minor in Mathematical Sciences, students must complete a minimum of four MATH or STAT courses, at least three of which must be at the 8000 level. The courses must be selected from at least two of the following focus areas: algebra, analysis, computational mathematics, operations research, or statistics. Additionally, students must include a Mathematical and Statistical Sciences faculty member on their advisory committee. These requirements are in addition to the master’s degree requirements students would have in their major degree programs.
