GEN 4110 - Population and Quantitative Genetics Laboratory 2 Credits (4 Contact Hours) Crosses are performed using eukaryotic organisms with appropriate markers, and molecular markers are amplified, sequenced, and analyzed. Collected data are used to test hypotheses regarding possible modes of inheritance and for patterns of molecular evolution. Population and molecular evolutionary genetics concepts are also examined. Preq: BCHM 3040 or GEN 3040 with a grade of C or higher. Preq or concurrent enrollment: GEN 4100 .
