SOC 4810 - Aging and Death 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Sociological orientation to aging populations focusing on the impact of health care, welfare, and retirement systems. Includes dying as a social phenomenon, suicide, euthanasia, and funerals. Preq: SOC 2010 or SOC 2020 ; and Junior standing.
