MATH 4030 - Introduction to Statistical Theory 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Principal topics include sampling distributions, point and interval estimation, maximum likelihood estimators, method of moments, least squares estimators, tests of hypotheses, likelihood ratio methods, regression and correlation analysis, introduction to analysis of variance. Includes Honors sections. Preq: MATH 4000 with a C or better.
