PES (AVS) 4230 - Forages and Livestock Systems

Establishment, management, and utilization of forage crops in a forage-livestock agroecosystem context. Discusses forage species and their characteristics, hay, silage, and pasture utilization and forage quality evaluation. Includes Honors sections. May also be offered as AVS 4230 . Preq: AVS 3700  or PES 1040  or PES 2020 .
