EES 4090 - Introduction to Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences
3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)Technological, industrial and medical applications of ionizing radiation and radioactive materials. Topics to be covered include basic nuclear physics, interactions of radiation with matter, radiation detection and measurement, fission reactors, and the nuclear fuel cycle. Preq: MATH 2080 with a C or better.
