ECE 2210 - Python Programming for Electrical and Computer Engineering 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Introduction to core programming concepts using Python for students in electrical and computer engineering. Topics include variables, expressions and statements, functionals, conditionals and recursion, functions, iteration, strings, built-in containers, error handling and debugging, file I/O, and object-oriented programming. Comparisons are made between Python and other programming languages, especially C, throughout the course. Developing proficiency in using Linux/Unix is also emphasized. Programming projects emphasize applications in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Preq: ENGR 1020 or ENGR 1050 or ENGR 1510 , each with a grade of C or higher.
