MATH 8750 - Mathematical Foundations of Machine Learning II3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Machine learning studies statistical models and associated algorithms that are used to perform tasks automatically with limited human instructions. This course is the second of a two-semester sequence on the mathematical theory associated with various machine learning algorithms. The goal is to provide a foundational understanding of machine learning by introducing key theoretical concepts and algorithms for deep learning. Preq: MATH 8730 .
