Minor Description


(15 credits minimum)

The Community Development and City Planning minor focuses on making neighborhoods, cities, and regions more vibrant, diverse, economically thriving, safe, healthy, sustainable, attractive, and accessible. Students apply knowledge and approaches from diverse fields such as city planning, technology, engineering, sociology, economics, politics, ecology, geography, and design, and gain understanding about how places function and how to change places for the better. The minor requires CRP 2010 , CRP 4010 , and CRP 4300 , and six additional credits selected from ARCH 3500 , CRP 4130 , GEOG 3020 , GEOG 3030 , POSC 3020 , POSC 4230 , and SOC 3310 .
