Program Description
As one of eight Signature Programs in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business, the objective of the Leadership Signature Program, and the associated 11-credit Leadership Certificate, is to cultivate mission-driven leaders charged with making a positive, global impact. The Leadership Certificate is open to all business students and consists of eight credits of experiential learning gained in a nominal, five-semester Leadership Practicum sequence, and three credits in leadership-focused elective courses. Completion of the certificate requires the following: - Eight credits of Leadership Practicum courses: BUS 2700 (2 credits), BUS 3700 (2 or 4 credits), and BUS 4700 (2 or 4 credits).
- Three additional credits selected from ACCT 4100 , the AS 2090 /AS 2100 sequence (4 credits), AS 3090 , AS 3100 , ECON 2050 , ECON 3500 , ELE 4020 , LAW 3400 , MGT 3070 , MGT 3080 , MGT 3500 , MGT 3810 , MGT 3900 , MGT 4000 , MGT 4050 , MGT 4080 , MGT 4110 , MGT 4270 , the ML 1010 /ML 1020 sequence (4 credits), PSYC 3680 , PSYC 3690 , PSYC 3770 , SOC 4500 , NPL 3000 , POSC 4580 , WS 2300 , and WS 2400 .
