Program Requirements
The requirements for a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science consist of POSC 1010 , POSC 1020 or POSC 1040 , POSC 1030 , POSC 1990 , POSC 3410 , POSC 4990 , and at least 21 additional credits in political science at the 3000-4000 level, including one upper-level American politics course and one upper-level global politics course.
In consultation with the departmental advisor, students choose one of the following concentrations: American Politics, Global Politics, Political Economy, Public Administration, or Public Policy.
Note: No more than three credits from POSC 3050 , POSC 3100 , POSC 3110 , POSC 3120 , POSC 3130 , POSC 4090 , and POSC 4100 may be applied toward a Political Science major.
