3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)This course explores the challenges our society faces in making the transition to renewable resource use in a way that is truly sustainable environmentally, economically and socially. The conflicting demands of each system are examined and used to critically examine possible solutions using a systems based approach. May also be offered as GEOL 1250.
