HIST 4720 - Medieval Conquests and Crusades 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Focuses on medieval conquests with particular emphasis on the era of the crusades. Investigates the origins and historical significance of the crusades from both Christian and Muslim perspectives, and examines crusader societies at home and abroad. Explores other medieval colonization movements and religious justifications for warfare outside the Holy Land.
