4 Credits (3 Contact Hours)Course for students with no previous experience in Spanish study. The fundamentals of grammar and vocabulary are taught, and a foundation is provided for building oral and written proficiency. Three hours a week of classroom instruction and one hour a week in the language laboratory. Coreq: SPAN 1011.
