Great Works Minor

Minor Description

(18 credits minimum)

The Great Works minor requires GW 3010 , plus one course from each of the following groups. A minimum of nine credits must be at the 4000 level.

• Group I - Classical Civilization: Three credits selected from ENGL 4030 , ENGL 4910 , ENGL 4290 , HIST 3540 , HIST 3550 , HIST 4500  or PHIL 3150  
• Group II - Post-Classical Literature: Three credits selected from ENGL 4080 , ENGL 4110 , ENGL 4140 , ENGL 4160 , FR 4000 , GW 4030 , SPAN 3130  or SPAN 4010  
• Group III - Philosophy, Religion, and Social Thought: Three credits selected from ENGL 3500 , HIST 4950 , PHIL 3160 , PHIL 3170 , POSC 4500 , REL 3010 , REL 3020  or REL 4010  
• Group IV - The Arts: Three credits selected from AAH 4230 , AAH 4240 , HUM 3010 , HUM 3020 , MUSC 4150 , MUSC 4160 , THEA 3150  or THEA 3160  
• Group V - The Sciences: Three credits selected from BIOL 4860 , ENGL 4340 , GW 4020  or GW 4050
