Microbiology Minor

Minor Description

(16 credits minimum)

A minor in Microbiology requires at least 16 credits as follows:

Required courses: MICR 3050 ; and either BCHM 3010  or BCHM 3050  

At least three credits from each of the following three sections:

Section I: Basic Biology of Microorganisms

• MICR 4040 , MICR 4120 , MICR 4150  

Section II: Pathogenic Microbiology

• MICR 4000 , MICR 4110 , MICR 4160 , MICR 4180 , BIOL 4560 /MICR 4560  

Section III: Applied and Environmental Microbiology

• BIOL 4250 , MICR 4020 , MICR 4030 , MICR 4050 , MICR 4070 , MICR 4100 , MICR 4130 , MICR 4910 , MICR 4940 , MICR 4950  

NOTE: This minor is not open to Microbiology majors.
